  1. this was an upgrade for my wife to replace her old dell. we play facebook games a lot and also use cameras and microphone to talk to a lot of grandkids both in usa and europe. when this computer came in my wife called and said they had only shipped a flat screen monitor. but thats the computer.

this computer is not the fastest out there but it is plenty fast enough for us. also the wide hd screen really has a great picture. it looks like a little tv

i would recommend this to anyone who is not into ultra gaming.
    Rating: 5 / 5

  2. I’ve had mine for a few months and it rocks. I have 2 other VAIO laptops that are champions. Sony makes great electronics and I seldom buy anything else. No complaints so far, but I could imagine the CD/DVD player might be the weakest link on the computer.
    Rating: 5 / 5

  3. I’m a low-tech person, and this computer is just right for me. It has the features I was looking for: a screen large enough to display two pages side by side but ultimately portable, and 4 GB of RAM with capacity to upgrade to 8. I love not having a tower to contend with. It’s light enough to carry, which is a consideration in my area, where every couple of years we have to evacuate for wildfires. This is the largest screen I could have gotten and still been able to carry the computer.

The colors are rich, intensely nuanced – lucious! My photographs look professional.

Since it comes with Windows 7, that part takes some getting used to, but I can already see that it has a lot of valuable features.

The CD drive is a little noisy. It’s not as smooth as others I’ve seen, such as the one of the Mac.

This is my second Sony computer and the first one I got back in 1999 and still working so I decided to buy this one since my brother took mine. It works really good and it is fast. the only thing I don’t like about is that it doesn’t have an optical output

I’m very satisfied with this pc. It has a beautiful streamline casing. It is compact and saves space.
